messengerMicrosoft today announced the latest version of instant messaging application Windows Live Messenger for PCs, which are presented directly by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Microsoft’s new Messenger will provide a great way to communicate because it includes integration with social networking, so you’ll stay connected with your peers.

Windows Lives Messenger adds new features to instant messaging. That includes tabbed conversations (similar to tabbed browsers), integration with Hotmail web mail service, the ability to do video chat in the format of High Definition (HD Chat), share web pages (not just the link) to someone, do a web search, or even display latest updates from various social networks.

Not wanting to miss a Skype Chat HD function released a few months ago, Windows Messenger also provides this feature. But quality web camera and internet connection is used, also affect whether the video chat will look blurry and broken or not.

For integration with social networking, Messenger can be attractive and to aggregate updates from Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, LinkedIn, and displays them in one window. You can comment on those Facebook photos, or writing a status message to all social networks at once, just through Messenger. Even in the future, Microsoft’s collaboration with Facebook would be more tightly. “As part of deeper integration with Facebook, Messenger later this year will support Facebook Chat feature, so you can send instant messages to all your Facebook friends via Messenger,” Microsoft said
Like googletalk integrated with Gmail, Live Messenger can also be found at the bottom left of Hotmail. Photo sharing capabilities in Messenger also makes it easier for such people to take photos from Facebook or take a photo of Bing search results for shared directly to the person on the sidelines of the conversation.
